Uniaxial geogrids Armagrid CO is a mono-oriented geosynthetic material made from low-pressure polyethylene. The extrusion method is used for manufacturing. Taking into account the requirements presented to the construction site, the grids are produced with a breaking characteristic from 25 to 110 kN / m.
The advantages that have caused the popularity of a uniaxial geogrid are:

In addition, it does not need repair and maintenance.

The high physicomechanical characteristics of uniaxial geosynthetics determine its high degree of reliability and efficiency. Especially important is the high rigidity of the material, good elongation at break, chemical inertness (pH = 4, pH = 11), high resistance to local damage (8%). The temperature range of application of the material is in the range from +60 to -60 degrees.
The main area of application of mono-oriented grids is land management: for mounds, slopes and slopes, retaining walls and earth dams. The use of a geogrid is possible with the arrangement of embankments on unstable ground. The use of non-woven geotextile as a technological layer allows to save bulk material by preventing its spillage. Also, the benefits include erosion control from the polymeric material and the possibility of using local cheap soil as a filler.
